There are several ways of sealing bladed grass in the chamber.
However, if it is possible, it is highly recommended to use the rounded
part of the grass blade (if one is available) and seal it in the
Compression Gland. If this is not possible you can try a
different method. The first of these is:

Gasket on left - razor blade on right.

Place razor in middle of gasket and cut about 80-90% across leaving a
"hinge".

Press down straight in order to cut through the gasket.

Gasket should not open like a "mouth".

Now slide bladed grass sample into the "mouth".

Sample should look like this.

Now insert bladed grass into grass insert.

Push the gasket into place into the grass insert.

Grass will look like this on the top of the chamber lid.
For grass samples with a large "center
ridge" you might start with a gasket that has a small hole in the
center like our 1/16" or 1/8" Standard Sealing Gasket.
