Almond, 1/8 Inch, 1/4 Inch, 3/8 Inch, 1/2 Inch Compression Gland Gasket and Inserts

1) The far left gasket and insert are special for samples with short
and small diameter petioles. The minimum sealing length for the
stem or
petiole is about .45 inch (13 MM).
2) The gasket and insert second from the left is 1/8 inch and is
great for
sealing small samples that have to go to high pressure. This
gasket goes from 1/8 inch to completely closed.
3) The gasket and insert third from the left is 1/4 inch.
This is the size of gasket that comes standard with our gas
instruments. This is an excellent gasket that will go from 1/4
inch to completely closed. Works great on most crops and samples.
4) The gasket and insert forth from the left is 3/8 inch. This
gasket
goes from 3/8 inch down to about 1/4 inch. In order to use this
properly the lower part of the Compression Gland will need to be
drilled/bored to 3/8 inch diameter hole.
5) The gasket and insert on the right is 1/2 inch. This is a
new
gasket we are offering for larger samples. This gasket goes from
1/2 inch down to about 3/8 inch. In order to use this properly
the lower
part of the Compression Gland will need to be drilled/bored to 1/2 inch
diameter hole.
~~~~ When using the 3/8 inch
and 1/2 inch gasket/inserts, it is best to have a Compression Gland
Base that is bored out to 1/2 inch. The instruments come normally
with the Compression Gland Base bored to 1/4 inch. If you are
going to use all sizes from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch, it is suggest to
purchase an extra Compression Gland Base that is bored to 1/2 inch to
ensure optimal use of the sealing system. ~~~~~
The Friction Washer is red color and fits between the
Compression
Gland Screw and the Compression Gland Insert. It simply keeps the
metal from rubbing and chafing. If you need a replacement,
