While the above units use nitrogen gas to pressurize the chamber, our
Pump-Up Pressure Chamber compresses atmospheric air into the chamber
similar to a bicycle pump. This instrument is limited to 20 Bar
and has a very small chamber which is 5.0 inches deep, 2.75 inches wide
and 5/8 inch breadth. It was designed for testing orchard leaves
using the Stem Water Potential method.
For those needing more pressure capacity, the Model 1000 offers 70 Bar
of pressure and uses an external tank. It has a stainless steel
chamber that is 2.5 inches diameter and 5.0 inches deep. This
unit can be upgraded to 100 Bar. It also comes with an adjustable
Compression Gland Sealing System.
